Simple Sentences with ‘There is/There are’

“There is/There are” is a phrase used to indicate the existence of something. “There is” is used when referring to singular nouns or uncountable nouns, while “there are” is used with plural nouns.

Example Sentences:

  1. There is a cat sleeping on the mat.
  2. There are three apples on the table.
  3. There is a bookshelf in the corner of the room.
  4. There are five birds chirping outside the window.
  5. There is a beautiful sunset over the horizon.
